PhD classes start at GCU

Government College University Lahore Vice Chancellor Dr Khaleequr Rahman has inaugurated doctorate of philosophy (PhD) in Islamic Studies. GCU Islamic Studies Department Chairperson Dr Sultan Shah and heads of various academic departments also attended the inauguration ceremony.   Also, GCU Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences has produced three Doctors of Philosophy in Mathematics.

 Prof Dr Mansoor Ahmad, Registrar, University of Karachi has announced that the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR), University of Karachi in its meeting held on April 24 awarded four MPhil, 12 PhDs, two MD (Neurology) degrees in various disciplines


The names of list of M.Phil, include Erum Mehmood of Applied Economics (AERC), Muhammad Kashif of European Studies (ASCE), Shahzad Ahmed of AERC, Nida Hashmi of Pharmaceutics

The PhD list included names of Muhammad Imran Latif Khokhar of Arabic Department, Ramzan Bamari of Persian Department, Shazia Azeem of Statistics Department, Noor Bano of Quran & Sunnah Department, Mehnaz Nuruddin of Biochemistry Department, Abdul Rehman Yousuf Khan of Arabic, Fazeela Mughal of Clinical Psychology, Afsheen Arif of Biotechnology (KIBGE), Asghar Ali Dahar Hakro of Geology, Roohi Ahmed of Economics, Farah Siddiq of Applied Chemistry and Muhammad Iqbal of Economics
